Portrait is done in oil and may be painted on wood panel or stretched canvas. Only photographs that are taken by the artist are used for the painting, no exceptions. Photographs will be used only for the painting of the portrait and will not be part of the portrait donation. A sitting at the artist's studio may also be arranged. Sittings are generally easier if the child is older and can sit for long periods of time. Sittings are generally done over several 2 hour sessions. Same time, same light. Once painting is in the customer's possession, there will be no changes or retouches, no exceptions.
