The parents of and ICE 8th grader, Stephen j Shanabrook and Veronika Georgieva are internationally recognized artists who collaborated with Comme des Garçons fashion label and were nominated for Golden Lion at Cannes Festival for Advertising as well as their pieces belongs to world-known art collections like Damien Hirst's "murderme" collection, controversial David Walsh MONA Museum Collection, and The State Tretyakov Gallery/Russia among others. It's a great opportunity to see their work in process and visit their spacious studio located in the otherwise-closed-to-the-public territory of Brooklyn Navy Yard.
