There are corresponding movements between the cranium (head) and the sacrum (base of the spine) and a "tide" of cerebral spinal fluid. The skill of the practitioner is to be able to perceive and listen to the rhythms of these movements. Then by correcting imbalances and releasing blocks from the craniosacral system, the body can reorganize into a more open expression of health and heal a wide variety of problems.
