Born from a 1916 grand department store, during renovation, the building was brought back to the original grandeur by retaining the original architectural elements including the main floor's segmental arches, groin vault ceilings, graceful windows, ornamental ironwork staircase and original hardwood floors on the sleeping floor levels.
