“De-constructing Memorial Bridge”-
Portsmouth Photo on Wood by Rick Dumont on “ARTiPLAQ” which is a wood composite; the print is laminated with UV protection.
The Memorial Bridge was built in 1923 in dedication to the soldiers and sailors of World War I. This image was taken in March of 2012 during the demolition of the bridge making way for the new bridge which opened in 2013. It is a panorama of two images stitched together in software.
Rick Dumont is a freelance photographer contributing regularly to organizations such as the Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce and Prescott Park Arts Festival. He has covered events such as the Chamber’s Fashion’s Night Out, Holiday Auction and Wine Tasting, and the annual reveal of PPAF’s summer theater selection.
