Michael Reynolds is a world famous architect who has spent the last forty plus years evolving the concept of home as well as the home itself. His vision is for the home to care for the inhabitants and not vice versa. With this logical goal in mind he set out to design and refine the Earthship.

Earthships are passive solar homes made of natural and recycled materials, including used automobile tires. These homes are “off the grid” getting their power from the sun, water from rain and snow and treating their waste water with integrated water systems. The Earthship is a radically sustainable Green Building, the epitome of sustainable design and construction. No part of sustainable living has been ignored in this ingenious building.

You’ll stay in the Phoenix East Earthship at Earthship Biotecture.  The Phoenix is a work of sustainable art that has been featured in countless television shows and print articles. Two bedrooms with king-size beds, one twin size bed, one bathroom, a full kitchen, large dining area and interior lounge with a fireplace/water fountain, WiFi and TV including Netflix awaits you.  The massive, flourishing jungle along with the assorted flora and fauna is also accessible.
