About the Artist:

Many years ago, Pamela Bennett Ader saw an art show where the artist hung up maps of the world and placed flags around each coastline to denote the claims of each country’s territorial waters. While this was informative, she could not grasp this as “Art.” In her estimation this artist was more of a town crier, as he was using his art as a way to inform his viewers. Historically, Bennett Ader has always considered herself to be a painter and collage artist, but in recent years she realizes that she too has morphed into a town crier. Her art has informed on the over consumption of wood, on the appreciation of color in nature, and on the symbiotic relationship between trees and birds. Her latest show is a celebration of same sex marriage and the success of overcoming the many roadblocks to those who wanted a legal union.
