About the Artist:

Scott McClintock is a local, self-taught artist who uses his work to draw attention to everyday objects and materials, and what we do with them. With a desire to always reduce, reuse and recycle, almost all of his works are created with things that would have otherwise gone to a landfill. He looks at objects others might call rubbish and imagines how they might become desirable again with a touch of paint or a bit of polishing. Consumed by the textures, colors and physical states of the chosen materials, he lets his imagination run, fueled by the excitement of endless possibilities.
