About the Artist:

Tom Fels is a curator and writer whose exhibitions have been shown at the Getty Museum in Malibu, and the van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. He is the author of numerous books and articles on photography, culture, and art, including O Say Can You See: American Photographs 1839-1939 (MIT, 1989), Sotheby's Guide to Photographs (Holt, 1998), and Fire and Ice: Treasures from the Photographic Collection of Frederic Church at Olana (Cornell, 2002). He began showing his recent art in 2013. Cyanotypes from the Arbor, Hydrangea and Catalpa Series are represented in museums and private collections, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
