June 19-23: “Off to the Movies"

We just can’t escape this theme, but only because there are so many amazing songs in movies. We all know the importance of a soundtrack in movies, but do we ever truly appreciate how music pushes the emotions as the images flash by? Well, this week we do! Picking from new releases to oldies but goodies, we bring in a whole new song list each year celebrating the power of music in the cinema.

July 17-21:  “Palettes & Pantone's”

To celebrate the vibrant, diverse and creative world we live in, Mr. D's Music Club is embracing the world of color! Through art and music, we explore how our experiences and emotions are expressed through color, shades, and hues. We will spend a week expressing ourselves in two of the simplest forms: art and music!

July 31-August 4:  “Force of Nature”

Mother Nature inspires us all. Through the rain, wind, waves, climates and extreme weather we really start to understand the force of nature and how it affects our lives. But Mother nature’s not the only force to be reckoned with. Musicians, artists, and dancers have long used this inspiration to create. We will be singing and dancing to great pop with heartfelt melodies that inspire impassioned expression, and bold creativity.

August 14-18: Decades: The New Wave ('76-'86) 

Each year we choose a different decade. We’ve done the 60’s, 70’s 80’s, 90’s and 2000's. Turns out The 80's was everyone's favorite so we're going back to dig up more outstanding new wave songs, dances and fashions!
