As the crow flies this place is seconds from where I live. The perspective is birds eye. I feel super connected to the birds around here, all kinds. I watch and appreciate them daily. I wanted to encapsulate the uniqueness of Bonny Doon in relation to the coast and Monterey Bay. Our heightened perspective just a few miles up from sea level, right at the fog line or higher, tucked by redwoods and pine trees, once removed from town. The grapes, Beauregard Winery, and their rich local family history represents all the exceptional, creative, individuals that make up our "unincorporated" community.
