We will be served breakfast the next morning and then kayak back to arrive by noon. Please see logistics below. Two important points:
1) Due to recent Point Reyes group camping restrictions, the number of attendees for this auction item is capped at 20 (i.e. 10 parents and 10 boys).
2) This auction item in no way is meant to replace the 4th grade class camping trip.
Cost is $300 per person, (i.e $600 per parent/son pair). Please buy one spot for you and one for your child. Maximum 20 people.
Special Instructions
Description: The group will gather at the Miller Park launch at Marshall, CA, adjacent to the Restaurant at Nick’s Cove. Blue Waters’ motorboat will shuttle the groups’ gear across Tomales Bay to the campsite. Blue Waters staff will provide an orientation to kayaking and kayak equipment, safety guidelines and paddle talk. Kayaks will be two-person kayaks meant for parent-son pairs. The group will launch at the boat ramp and paddle across Tomales Bay to their designated campsite. On the bay, the group may stop on a remote beach for lunch. After paddling and enjoying the scenic beauty of Tomales Bay, the group will proceed to the campsite on Marshall beach for dinner, campfire, and next day breakfast. Blue Water’s staff will motorboat the groups’ gear back to launch site in the morning.
