Dr. Gardner’s Feast for 2017


 2017 Feast


The feast for this year is for up to twelve people. The successful bidder and Dr. Gardner will agree upon a date and a site for the feast, which should be within 30 miles of Paynesville. The cooking will be done by Dr. Gardner on site. Dr. Gardner will provide the meal, as well as tableware, napkins, and beverages. Dr. Gardner will also provide beer, wine and soft drinks as agreed upon with the bidder. The minimum acceptable bid for this feast is $350.


 The Feast


Appetizer: Grilled Cajun shrimp with Remoulade sauce or chips with homemade guacamole dip.


Salad: Caesar salad or coleslaw


Vegetable: Boiled corn on the cob or sautéed asparagus


Main course will be a choice of two of the following four selections: Grilled boneless sirloin steak, hickory-smoked St. Louis style spare ribs, jambalaya or grilled Alaska salmon (caught by me and my family).


Dessert: Pies from Sweet Nook Bakery in Paynesville. The successful bidder and I will pick the pies.


I have been preparing this annual feast for several years and it has always been a time of fun and enjoyment. If the successful bidder desires, I will add an extra choice from those mentioned above if the winning bid is over $450.

Special Instructions

The date, time and location of the meal will be mutually agreed upon by Dr. Bob Gardner and the winning bidder.
