The Postman was carved by a local artist named Don Smith. This is one of his favorite pieces of artwork. It took over 50 hours of hand carving to create this masterpiece. The base is cedar wood and the Postman is rose root.
Don Smith displays his artwork at the Peacock Perch located in Downtown Tallapoosa, GA.

Items may be picked up the Greater Haralson Chamber of Commerce, 70 Murphy Campus Blvd., Waco, GA; between the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.
