2015 Zinfindel

From our Olive Hill Estate Vineyard, full bodied and gregarious, this wine exhibits berry aromas of blueberry, raspberry, and a touch of strawberry framed by an earthy bouquet of cedar, black pepper and cinnamon bark. Aged 18 months in 50% new and 50% one-year-old French oak barrels.

A unique dual appellation blend of our best hillside Sonoma and Napa vineyards. This one-of-a-kind composition marries the great Napa Cabernet vineyards of Altas Peak, Spring Mountain, Howell Mountain, Mt. Veeder, Calistoga, and Oakville with Sonoma's Chalk Hill, Sonoma Valley, Sonoma Coast and our own B.R. Cohn Olive Hill Estate.

A rich bold style Cabernet built to go with food. Classic Cabernet aromas of cassis and plum yield to black cherry and briar. These harmonize with a bouquet of sweet French oak, cedar cigar box, clove and a hint of anise and pine needle. The palate is medium-full bodied with rich plum and cherry flavors and round supple tannins on the long finish.
