"Cheryl (Janine Turner) and Alex Wheeler (Robert Merrill) are seemingly happily married, with two beautiful daughters. In fact, we soon discover that these four are actually actors making a film. The real Alex Wheeler (Edward Albert) is a filmmaker directing a movie about his complex relationships with the real Suzanne (Kate Jackson) and the real Cheryl (Jennifer Hetrick).
