The blockbuster exhibit of 2002 at London’s Tate Modern Musuem. Matisse Picasso at Tate Modern brought together major masterpieces by the two giants of modern art. Between them Matisse and Picasso originated many of the most significant developments of twentieth-century painting and sculpture. Opened the Tate Modern and subsequently traveled to Paris and New York.
