Since 1899, the Burke Museum has been one of the only Washington State Museums to feature natural history and culture.  Throughout the year, there are many special events including Archaeology Day, Birds at the Burke, Dino Day and Meet the Mammals.  In addition, there are two permanent exhibits and a series of rotating temporary exhibits.
