Mark Stewart is a New York City-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, singer and instrument designer. He is a founding member of the Bang on a Can All-Stars band is currently Paul Simon's guitarist. He has performed with Bob Dylan, Cecil Taylor, Philip Glass, Bruce Springsteen, Edie Brickell, Paul McCartney and more. He also plays many experimental and lesser-used instruments, such as the daxophone and theremin.
