Description
A colorful picture by Metro the painting racehorse. METRO is retired from painting. You will not be able to get his prints in the future.
Look carefully and you can see a horse's eye with mane surrounding it.
Metro only works in Non-Toxic acrylics, painting beautiful thick brushstrokes on Gessoed hardboard. The larger sizes are all painted on 1 1/2 deep hardboard and are painted black on the sides and ready to hang. The 11x14" sizes are painted on heavy watercolor paper, so please check the listing carefully to make sure which one is right for you. Ron & Metro will also collaborate on paintings from time to time, signing both their names to it.
Metro minis are small 5x7" paintings matted and packaged to an 8x10" size. All paintings come with a bio of Metro.
Special Instructions
After the online auction closes, this item will be going to a LIVE EVENT for further bidding. The LIVE EVENT is Thursday, April 19. You will be notified by email if you are awarded the winning bid. If shipment of your item is required, shipping and handling charges will apply and be billed to your account. Local pick-up can be arranged, in lieu of shipping, between April 21th and April 30th. If interested in local pickup, three locations will be available: Camp Hebron, Halifax; a location in Harrisburg; and a location in Lancaster.
We will have provisions for absentee bidding. Anyone bidding on line for an item who has entered a maximum bid that is higher than the ending on-line bid, will be placed on an absentee bidding report and a volunteer will bid on the item for you up to your maximum stated amount.
