Artists Statement
I love living on the edge- the border between land and water. Here on Cape Cod is an abundance of shoreline. Ocean beaches, bays, salt marshes, ponds and lakes. Behind them are dunes and hills and woods. Drawing on a life-long knowledge of each area, I return again and again to familiar places, trying to capture special moments when weather, light and composition come together in extraordinary beauty.
I produce all my work in my home studio. The prints are made with pigment inks, and all materials are acid free to ensure a lasting piece of art.
While Cape Cod is my home turf, on my website I also have galleries of my work from other places, which I am expanding as my travels continue.
