A week in Paris! Walk with the ghosts of Picasso, Matisse, Utrillo, Renoir through the cobblestones streets of Montmartre at the foot of Sacre Coeur in this vibrant "quartier" of Paris that still attracts artists today.  One bedroom apartment in an 18th century building that was once a hotel where  Jacques Brel lived when he first came to Paris as a young man. Apartment is on the 4th floor on the back of the building, which is quieter. The neighborhood abounds with boutique shops for men, women, children, or just general gifts, a large variety of restaurants, art galleries, theaters, live music, something for everyone.  Climb or take the funicular to Sacre Coeur for one of the best views in Paris.  Both Metro Abbesses and Metro Anvers are close, and the bus stops at the corner, so you can be anywhere in Paris within 15-20 minutes. Gare du Nord, where you catch Eurostar or the RER to the airport, is a 15 minute walk.
