The former president of Cedar Crest College, Dr. Dorothy Gulbenkian Blaney, has compiled a selection of thoughtful essays in which she reminisces about the events that have most colored and influenced her life and her perception of the world around us. Written over a period of years, Blaney succeeds in delving below the surface of daily occurrences to find the basic building blocks of a meaningful life.
