Alumna Liz Deutsch Murphy '86 created this pin using a real gingko leaf painted gold.  

Gingko leaf pin:  a real gingko leaf, dried over several months, then painted with several coats of copper paint and a clear-coated top layer.  The pin may be worn on a favorite top, but it cannot be handled roughly. Liz has worn her pin on many occasions without any issues.
