Enjoy a two-hour baking class with MCS Food Program Coordinator Amanda Hallowell for up to six adults


Have you tried the muffins, scones, bread, flatbread, pizza or other baked goodies at MCS? Ever wanted to learn to make them on your own? Well this is the experience for you! 


Amanda Hallowell, parent of Hella (Class of '22), began as MCS Food Program Coordinator in the spring of 2016. In addition to working with the kitchen staff to create healthy, homemade, locally-sourced meals for MCS students, she also teaches an Afterschool Baking class and an Upper School Elective called "Food for Thought" that combines food policy with hand-on cooking lessons and works with the fifth grade on their Food & Sustainability Curriculum. She is also the Chef and General Manager of Nebo Lodge Inn & Restaurant in North Haven, Maine.
