Description

North House instructor and well known woodcarver Harley Refsal is offering a private, one-day tutorial in Scandinavian-style figure carving. The author of several books on the subject, Harley, Professor of Scandinavian Folk Art at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, instructs throughout the U.S. as well as in Scandinavia. This one-day experience will give the high bidder (whether a beginner or experienced carver) the opportunity to carve a figure (fish, Dala horse, Nisse/Tomte, fisherman, etc.) appropriate for your prior experience.

Here's your chance to work one-on-one at North House Folk School with an award-winning carver and Scandinavian folk art expert.

Special Instructions

The winning bidder will be provided contact information for Harley Refsal and is responsible for making arrangements with him.

This one-day experience must coincide with the dates when Harley Refsal is scheduled to teach a class at North House Folk School. The deadline for this experience is November 30, 2018.
