The Hungry Hippie Farm was an idea we had after purchasing an old homestead in October of 2012. We've been growing things ever since! We've taken time off from raising our pasture-raised pigs and chickens, and have put our efforts towards our hostel business and our two beautiful children. Don't worry, we're still getting our hands dirty growing leeks, lemongrass, lavender and a variety of edibles in our gardens. 

The Hungry Hippie Hostel has been a work in progress the last few years. With a lot of elbow grease, ingenuity, and grit, we've converted our beautiful barn into a clean, cozy and affordable lodging accommodation! The Hungry Hippie Hostel features bunks and private rooms with a wonderful view of Lake Superior. We are so excited to share our homestead with you!
