In addition to being paper-thin these beautiful bowls from M'I lumina contain paper. The clay is a mixture of paper and light porcelain and they are eggshell-like in their thinness. Inside is a light glaze in the colors of the ocean: blue and light blue. 

The bowls' construction is remarkably difficult to achieve, their lightness make them rare and precious objects to behold. Not intended for household use, these bowls are meant for contemplation.

Luciana Grazia Menegazzi, M'I lumina's designer and creator say that the clay, the recycled paper, the organic forms, inspired by the natural world, make M'I lumina creations a refined but eco-friendly expression of interior design.
