Functionally and stylistically, the Meditation Hardware's Mark I seat offers something entirely new to the meditation bench concept.

Construction involves laminating several thin layers of high-quality, void-free bendable poplar over a curved form and veneering with 1/32"-thick walnut. The swooping contour cradles a 6" diameter steel ring, which provides incredible strength and allows this seat to spring slightly under weight. 

A little "give" when sitting down on the Mark I provides a ton of satisfaction—and it's responsive to the sitter's subtle adjustments of posture during a session.

The steel is powder-coated and available in an assortment of colors, providing attractive contrast to the wood, which is finished with an award winning, eco-friendly oil/wax blend.
