Tour hosts Two Truths and Bhutan Wisdom Tours invite you to participate in a rare cultural immersion and retreat opportunity October 10 to 23, 2018: a conversation among Western and Bhutanese teachers, scholars, lamas, and monks in a venerated Himalayan Monastery, in the spiritual heart-essence of Bhutan. The retreat theme is “Cultivating Compassion: Tara, Dakinis, Bodhichitta in Buddhist Practice and Contemporary Science".
The Western Teachers for the 2018 conversation includes Acharya Judith Simmer-Brown, Ph.D., Venerable Thubten Chodron, Sensei Al Kaszniak, Ph.D., and Venerable Pannavati Bhikkhuni.
During the retreat there will be meditations, mindfulness movement experiences, teachings, dialogue, and transmissions.
The five-day retreat is part of a larger 14-day cultural immersion tour that will visit the last intact Buddhist kingdom. The group will attend a Tsechu Sacred Dance Festival, visit sacred sites, nunneries and temples, artisan villages, and commune with yaks and monkeys in pristine, old-growth forests with cascading waterfalls turning traditional prayer wheels.

Note: Two Truths LLC and Wisdom Tours will be generously donating 20% of the closing auction price, of this Retreat and Tour offering, to Lion's Roar Foundation. An opening bid of $3,695.00 per person is in effect. The market cost is $4,895.00
Special Instructions
Costs are based on double occupancy, i.e. shared twin or double occupancy, and include all taxes, ground transport, hotels, meals, guides knowledgeable in Buddhism, Bhutanese culture and history; museum admissions, and $750.00 retreat registration. Cost also includes $250.00 per day Daily Tariff mandated by the Royal Government, which partially covers universal free healthcare and free education for Bhutanese nationals.
The final winning bid can be applied to (2) reservations, at the closing auction price, per person, based upon double occupancy.
Price does not cover: International airfare to and from Bhutan.
For Single Supplement, add $695.00 per person outside of the auction winning bid.
