"Awakening the Body" from Dharma Ocean is one of a series of four online courses from the Foundation Series designed to introduce participants to the somatic meditation practices of the Dharma Ocean lineage, each course building upon the material of the preceding course. The successful bidder for this item will take part in the online "Awakening the Body" course starting September 2018 and running for ten weeks.  

Awakening the Body  leads participants in exploring the view and practice of somatic meditation and how it reveals the joy, altruism, and creativity that resides at the core of a person's being. Designed for beginning and advanced students alike, the training focuses on a series of powerful somatic meditation practices drawn from Tibetan and East Asian Buddhism and spiritual Taoism.

This course is open to all, and is required in order to take any additional Foundation Courses.

As the Spiritual Director of Dharma Ocean, Reggie Ray brings four decades of study and meditation practice within the Tibetan tradition, as well as a special gift for applying it to the unique spiritual imperatives of modern people.
