Description

Let the simple lines, color, and natural materials of this "Jizo Bodhisattva" long- beaded beach pottery necklace from Lilla Jizo express you. This piece of wearable art is made from a drilled piece of beach pottery. The image is made with charcoal and acrylic paint over which a protective layer of lacquer has been added.

Jizo is a Buddhist helper/bodhisattva. He appears in different countries also, such as China and Korea, but is best known in Japan. Jizo is the japanese name for this being. He is known to be the helper of all beings, but specifically the helper and protector of children, women and travellers.

Lilla Jizo says she is "dedicated to living a simple life in peace, by the sea, in the company of trees, and expressing the quality of loving kindness through art, hoping that all may be able to see how we are alike, connected at the root, and walk in peace."

This is the healing, simply to recognize who we are.
These are the messengers, carrying the seed within, like you and I.
