The social role of coffee in society is underrated. We don't start our day without a cup, often sharing it between couples, reading the paper and getting ready for a long day. Relationships have been built over the simple brew, whether lovers, friends, or business associates. And the health benefits are confirmed as more helpful than harmful.

The social function is clearly evident. People do business with coffee, communicate with coffee, enjoy with coffee and work with coffee. We drink a lot of coffee.

For those of you who get it, the MDE School has put together this coffee lover basket with help from Starbucks, Crazy Love Coffeehouse and Southern Muggs Coffee Shop. This makes it easy for you to do what you do anyway and support the Life Skills Program at the MDE School.

Starbucks has donated a travel cup with a 16oz package of their Starbucks House Blend beans for you to brew at home or work. Feeling like a barrista, head down to  Crazy Love Coffeehouse in Roswell, who has generously donated a $50 gift card good for coffee or food. And its not done yet, Southern Muggs Coffee Shop has donated a $15 gift card for good at their Cartersville location.
