The Atlanta Braves organization with the Home Depot sponsorship provided two 8 1/2 x 11 autographed photographs: one for Tom Glavine; and the 2nd one of Andruw Jones. Each autographed photo is valued at $50.00 and given the source of the items and that the proceeds go to support the MDE School, these will be two wonderful items framed and displayed at your office, home, or kept in storage with the rest of your collection.
Andruw Jones made his debut with the Atlanta Braves in 1996 and became the youngest player ever to hit a home run in the post season, and the second player ever to homer in his first two World Series at bats. Jones was elected to his first All-Star team in 2000 and was frequently compared to Willy Mays and was considered one of the best center fielder's in baseball. While with the Braves, Jones became the youngest player in MLB history to reach 300 home runs.
Tom Glavine was the MVP of the 1995 World Series as the Braves beat the Cleveland Indians. In the 1990's, Glavine rung up 164 victories, was a five-time 20-game winner and two-time Cy Young Award winner. He was also one of only 24 pitchers (and 6 left handers) in major league history to earn 300 career wins. In 1994 on his first year of eligibility, Tom Glavine was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
