About the artist:
Kenneth Johnston produces collages and digitally manipulated paintings and drawings that are printed on canvas. His goal is to provide the viewer with a “waking dream” experience - a visual representation of those fragments remembered from an uneasy sleep. The beach and ocean, the animals in the sand at low tide, and those distant objects looming on the horizon distorted by heatwaves and atmospherics influence his works.
Johnston's work has been featured in Abstractron by Gary Boggess. He also photographs wildlife, specializing in birds, reptiles, and insects.

Successful bidders can pick up items at Cat Haven's 16th annual Cat Tails & Cocktails fundraiser taking place from 7 - 10 p.m. on October 6th at the Guru in Baton Rouge, after the silent auction closes. Bidders can also pick up items at the Cat Haven Adoption Center located at 11130 N. Harrell's Ferry Road during business hours. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12-6 p.m. and Sunday from 12-4 p.m. Successful bidders can also have the items shipped at their expense. We can be reached at 225-636-2680.
