 Welcome to Rough Point, the oceanfront estate of Doris Duke—heiress, philanthropist, and art collector—still decorated as she left it with French furniture, European art, Chinese porcelains, and Flemish tapestries. The house is now open for the 2017 season. Our current exhibition is Nature Tamed in the Landscape, Gardens, and Collections of Rough Point, an exploration of the history of the grounds, alongside fashion and objects inspired by the natural world.
