Talk about a one-of-a-kind item. This "Daffy Throne" was a gift from a Sante Fe artist to Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny developer Chuck Jones on the occasion of his 80th birthday. The throne was given to Jones at The Telluride Film Festival, which in 1999 built a new theater called "Chuck Jones Cinema." The throne resided at that theater for many years.
Our friends Bill and Stella Pence, who founded Telluride and then amazingly brought Telluride By The Sea to The Music Hall and Portsmouth, have generously donated this amazing bit of memorabilia.
It's safe to say you can't find this item anywhere else. Bid high.
