Our style of teaching comes directly from the Gracie family and you will gain from that knowledge in every class you attend with us. Our teachers will take the time to explain to you in detail every technique and its application each class. They will always encourage you to ask questions and will take as much time as needed to fully explain the techniques being presented. We focus on both the traditional “street” style Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the more modern “sport” style, both of which are important to learn and are great for learning self-defense, self-confidence, and discipline. Every member of our academy is part of our established jiu-jitsu family and we strive to make our training environment open and friendly to all men, women, and children.

We tailor each of our classes to fits the needs and progress of our students. We know that everyone learns differently and we take the time to make sure that all of our students are making noticeable progress. We know that when starting or participating in any sport it is important to have options when it comes to training. We strive to offer you the greatest variety in class times, groups, and private training so that you can fit jiu-jitsu into your schedule.
