American Eagle One Dollar Silver Coin
This listing is for a 2000 Silver Bullion American Eagle coin. It is a genuine United States Mint coinage. The obverse of the .999 Fine Silver coin is based on Adolph A. Weinman's 1916 "Walking Liberty" half dollar, one of the most elegant American coins ever minted. The reverse design, a powerful "heraldic Eagle" was created 70 years later by U. S. Mint sculptor-engraver John Mercanti. Using an advanced colorization process, the American Historical Society has meticulously colorized this gleaming Brilliant Uncirculated coin to the finest detail. This American Eagle Silver Dollar bears the historic date 2000, the first year of the Millennium.
