OMSI, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, serves over one-million visitors both at the museum and through off-site education programs. Ranked as one of the top science centers in the United States, the museum's reputation extends internationally for its innovative exhibits and educational programs. Among the highlights of OMSI’s campus are the Empirical Theater—site of Portland’s largest movie screen and well-known venue for documentary and popular films—as well as the U.S.S. Blueback, the last diesel fast-attack submarine to serve in the U.S. Navy.
