2014 Home Ranch:  With the core from Seghesio’s original planting in 1895, this wine is 120 years in the making. Home Ranch Zin consistently receives high praise from the critics, allowing it to transcend the category into a world class wine that just happens to be Zinfandel.  The wine has the blackberry, black plum and other brambly fruit characteristics of Alexander Valley. The “Graham crust” undertones are typical of the Home Ranch terroir. Subtle hints of oak, briary acidity and finish of ripe peach.

2013 Pagani Heritage Red: This wine comes from the storied Pagani Ranch in Sonoma Valley. The vineyard is completely dry-farmed with a very deep root system that provides a rich and nuanced structure to the fruit. Upfront flavors of blue fruit, blackberry and boysenberry. Intense color and structure, yet drinks light. Tightly wound, focused with brisk acidity. 50% Zinfandel, 50% Alicante Bouschet.

2013 Maffei: The inaugural bottling of this single vineyard Maffei reinforces Seghesio’s commitment to bottle the best Zinfandel in Sonoma. Blackberry, black cherry and spice box dominate the nose. Fresh raspberry coulis and black cherry flavors on the palate. Wonderful rich mid-palate with vibrant acidity for a clean fruit-driven finish.
