George Levkoff’s winemaking philosophy is to make wine as it is made at Williams Selyem, where he worked the harvests of 1999, 2000, 2001, and 2002.

The wine is made using gravity, is not pumped, and is unfined and unfiltered. George says the reason he makes wine is because he was moved by the wine produced by Burt Williams, the original winemaker at Williams Selyem. George Wine Company only makes Pinot Noir from the heart of the Russian River Valley. The wines are all made the same way, but taste differently because each grape grower has a different philosophy to farming. George Wine Company has a low alcohol/low oak style where the fruit is the key.

Your case of Pinot Noir are all vineyard specific wines from the Russian River Valley. The grapes for the wines come from three vineyards – Hansen, Leras Family Vineyard and Martinelli Ceremonial.

(3) 2016 Ferae Naturae Rose of Pinot Noir: The grapes come from all three of the above vineyards

(3) 2015 Sonoma Coma: Also a blend from the three vineyards

(2) 2015 George XIII, Leras Family Vineyard – only 128 cases produced.

(2) 2015 George XIII, Ceremonial Vineyard – 222 cases produced.

(2) 2015 George XIII, Hansen Vineyards – 152 cases produced.
