Produced by Jean-Claude Boisset, The Surrealist is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Only 134 cases were produced.

The fruit for the The Surrealist is grown in the McCarthy Vineyard on the western side of St. Helena at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains and in the Pritchard Hill area of Napa.

The Surrealist opens with tantalizing aromas of cassis, ripe fruits, and earth, followed by flavors of blackberry, black cherry and a touch of vanilla. With a slight hint of tar, the wine is silky and lush, seducing you with its long finish. Exceptionally balanced.
