Description

This is a genuine silver tram of King Hetoum I with Zabel, struck between 1226 and 1270 AD.  The obverse depicts a lion right with a cross, and the reverse shows King Hetoum and Queen Zabel standing holding a long cross.  There are legends in Armenian on each side. 


2.70 grams, 21 mm diameter.
