Though former LASA astronomy teacher Ms. Earnhart has left town, she frequently visits Austin and has graciously offered to lead an evening of stargazing. The session can be one-on-one, with a small group, or for a larger gathering. Ms. Earnhart will coordinate with you to schedule the date, time, and location of your journey through the heavens. 

Learn the names of major stars, map the constellations and learn navigation skills, gaze at the Moon, planets, and nearby nebulae and star clusters through celestial binoculars, and make connections to ancient Greek myths and stories throughout history and pop culture. At your request, Ms. Earnhart can also come prepared to give a talk or demonstration on any astronomical topic of your choosing.
