Title: Our Heritage - One State

Students from Mrs. Reynolds’ class collected recycled aluminum cans, then cut and pressed the cans to create a country’s flag that represents their heritage. The flags were then collaged together to form the shape of California.

This wonderful unique piece of recycled art represents the idea that though we all come from many places, we come together to form our beautiful community.

Using recycled materials in our art project is also an homage to Bay Farm School’s focus and dedication to being green.
