About Camp Winaukee
Camp Winaukee is a private residential boys’ camp on beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Our program offers three, five and seven week sessions for boys ages 7-15.
Founded in 1920, Winaukee enjoys a reputation as one of the premier sports and adventure camps in America.
Winaukee has two campuses. The Mainland Camphas approximately 200 campers ages 7-12 and the Island Camp, located on a private island just off the Mainland, has approximately 150 campers ages 13-15. Winaukee’s two separate facilities offer all of our campers the intimacy of a small camp setting with the breadth and diversity of programming of a larger camp. The atmosphere at each of the two age-appropriate camps is unique. The camps are run essentially separate, and each has its own facilities, playing fields, courts, bunks, playhouses and dining halls.

Discover Winaukee: A 3-week Introductory Session

In addition to our traditional 7 week session, Camp Winaukee offers a three-week, shorter session sleep away camp experience for boys. Campers have the opportunity to enjoy everything that a traditional summer camp has to offer – exciting activities, positive role models and excellent skill instruction. This session offers a perfect introduction to sleep away camping for families interested in the experience but not yet ready for a full season.
Our Introductory Session campers enjoy a 3:1 camper to counselor ratio, small bunk groups, a structured, wide ranging program of activities using state of the art equipment and excellent instruction, traditional camp events, evening activities, and much more!
