Basic Sewing & Needlepoint – Kathleen Rickards

If a button fell off your shirt, could you sew it back on?  If the seam of your pants ripped, could you fix it?  Would you like a fun way to express yourself? In this program, we will learn basic sewing skills for the first few sessions, and spend the rest of the term completing a needlepoint kit chosen from a selection.  You will gain practical home skills, as well as learn a new craft that you can use to express yourself in a variety of ways!

Open to Grades 4-8

Will meet Mondays, 3:05-4:15

Class Sessions: Nov: 14, 28, Dec: 5, 12  Jan: 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb: 6, 13

Fee: $135 (Includes $10 supply fee)

Location: Mrs. Rickards’ classroom
