DVD of the 23rd Great Aspiration Puja of the Glorious Unequaled Kagyupa Lineage

Under the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya, India the site where Buddha Sakyamuni attained complete and perfect enlightenment, a praying gathering called the Kagyu Monlam is held every year from the 8th to 15th day of the 11th month of the Tibetan calendar.

The gathering is formally known as the Pal Nyammay Kagyupay Sangha Monlam Chenmo, which in English means "The Great Aspiration Puja of the Glorious Unequaled Kagyupa Lineage".

His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, the crown jewel of the Karma Kagyu Lineage, has presided over the praying gathering since 2004, and now it has become the greatest annual event of the lineage.
