Valerie Baier has been painting seriously for over 8 years but has always been interested in sketching and painting. Valerie joined the Falmouth Art Guild in 2006 and painted weekly with a group both indoors and outdoors for 3 years. Valarie also took classes in sketching and water color over a four-year period.

In 2008, a large painting of sunflowers was accepted in a juried show at Highfield Hall in Falmouth, and was sold at said show.

Valerie is most interested in painting from nature-landscapes, flowers, trees, etc. as well as still life studies.

Valerie is currently a member of The Nashoba Valley Artists who meet once a week to paint in water color. They do a critique after each painting session
